RICS President's visit to Northern Ireland 20.02.06Fergal McKenna receives the RICS NI Arthur Hill Memorial AwardPresident of RICS, US-based chartered surveyor Steve Williams, visited Northern Ireland on February 16 and 17 2006. His stay took in the annual dinner and the annual diploma ceremony for newly qualified members as well as meetings with the Valuations and Land Agency, the University of Ulster and Queens University Belfast.


The annual dinner saw some 200 members and their guests gather at Belfast’s Stormont Hotel where they heard from the president as well as speaker, John Murray-Brown of the Financial Times.

The diploma ceremony took place at the Innovation Centre in Belfast’s Science Park and saw some 40 new members receive their diploma certificates from the President.
